At its latest conference, NVIDIA took a major step in humanoid robots by announcing Project GR00T, along with products like Isaac Manipulator, Isaac Perceptor, and Jetson Thor.
Project GR00T is a new humanoid robot equipped with an AI system trained on extensive datasets to perform various tasks. These robots have the ability to understand natural language and mimic human movements. Additionally, NVIDIA’s Isaac robot platform is a suite of tools and technologies designed to enhance robots’ capabilities in vision, hearing, and performing complex tasks.
NVIDIA’s Jetson Thor is also noteworthy. This computer is described as a new computing platform capable of performing complex tasks and interacting naturally with both humans and machines. Jetson Thor is specifically designed to serve as the brain of humanoid robots and is expected to make a significant impact in the future.

Robots supported by GR00T will be capable of understanding natural language and mimicking human movements. They will also rapidly learn the skills needed to navigate, adapt, and interact in the real world.
